Upgrades Bring Quality & Capability to Fore

A new continuous quench and temper line is now running production parts at CSI. The new line reduces the need for the old-style box temper ovens and provides important new capacity and back-up for the other continuous line installed several years ago. This new line will handle both finish mower blades and rotary mower blades; producing both to international standards of quality and dependability. With this installation, Cutting Specialists has basically done a total modernization of the heat-treat department since moving to the current location in 2005. The previous installations of a RAPID line and the Internal Quench line brought important new capacity to handle our ever-growing portfolio of cutting parts. With the third line, we now have one of the most versatile and flexible facilities for making a wide variety of parts for a wide variety of customers.
