WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO BE ISO CERTIFIED?

ISO 9000 is a series of international quality standards developed by the International Organization for Standardization. More than 100 countries now recognize the 9000 series. These standards ensure that the products manufactured by our facilities meet the requirements of its customers.

To be truly ISO Certified, each facility is audited annually by an outside specialists. If a company says they “follow an ISO plan”, you can bet they are not being audited and do not have a certificate showing compliance to a plan. The new ISO standard is also built upon Continuous Improvement. To achieve this result, a company needs to be audited year after year after year. Only then can claims of compliance and continuous improvement be verified.

Both of our facilities are audited annually by DNV, one of the foremost companies in this field. The same auditor has returned for each annual audit so that he knows our ISO manuals very well. This allows the auditor to go deeper and deeper into the policies and procedures in order to insure compliance with the plan and to indeed effect Continuous Improvement. By using an auditing firm and staying with that firm year after year, Beall and CSI are showing a true commitment to the ISO program as it is intended to be implemented.
